What is Bike Register?

A service where you can register your bike, check bike status with a frame number, report theft and receive sightings securely.

Who is this service for?

Bike owners, buyers and anyone who wants to check a bike or report a sighting.

Using the service

I found my own bike in the service, but it is registered to someone else. What should I do?

Open the Check page, search the bike by frame number, and choose "This is my bike". Submit an ownership claim with as much evidence as possible (for example receipt, frame details, identifying marks, or police case information). Admin will review the dispute. While the dispute is open, the bike is locked and ownership cannot be transferred before a decision.

How do I transfer bike ownership?

Open the bike via My bikes > Manage, enter the new owner's email and start transfer. The recipient accepts or rejects in their dashboard.

What if confirmation email is not delivered?

The transfer request still appears to the recipient when they sign in with the same email address.

Can a stolen bike be transferred?

No. Stolen-bike transfer is blocked. After clearing stolen status, a 72-hour safety delay applies.

Does frame-number history follow the bike?

Yes. The frame number carries an event history in the service so ownership changes and security-relevant events can be verified. The history is shown in anonymized form without personal data.

Where can I find official guidance if my bike gets stolen?
